The Vidalia High School Literary Team continues its tradition of excellence, earning its 13th consecutive Region Championship. This outstanding achievement reflects the dedication, talent, and hard work of the students and coaches who represent Vidalia with pride.
Under the leadership of Literary Coach Margaret Pournelle, along with coaches Kellie Rowell and Jillian Davis, the team excelled across multiple categories, earning top honors in individual and group events.
First-place winners included Kingston Ryals and Gregory Huston (Duo Literary Interpretation), Caiden Beasley (Humorous Literary Interpretation and International Extemporaneous Speaking), Savannah Edwards (Dramatic Literary Interpretation), Gregory Huston (Boys Solo), and the Girls Trio of Savannah Edwards, Erica Harvey, and Si-Lestte Townsel.
Additional students earned second- and third-place finishes, showcasing the depth of talent and commitment within the VHS Literary program.
